Steve Irvin, who was a long-time beloved school counselor before coming to join the ICAN retired early this summer. He worked at ICAN for the past 6 years. The work he did in Western Iowa is matchless. He will forever be a legacy at ICAN. He has helped countless families and students throughout the state of Iowa. Without his help, many students would not be able to attend college or go chase their dreams. He is already missed! Although he is deeply missed, we are happy for him at ICAN as we know he is out enjoying morning tee time, countless snuggles from his grandkids and being able to spend more time with his wife, family and friends. You had quite a ride, Steve and we thank you for your dedication to ICAN and the many families across the state of Iowa!
Cindy Shupp, who was a tremendous ICAN employee, also known as “Mama Cindy” to many in the ICAN Hiawatha office announced her retirement late this summer. Cindy was always the friendly face that greeted you at the door. She made all ICAN customers feel welcomed. She became friends with anyone she encountered. Her witty personality and big friendly smile would light up a room! She was an absolute JOY to work with and will be deeply missed. We are excited for Cindy as she embarks on a new journey. She is now able to spend quality time with her new grandbaby, her husband and best friend, Steve, and countless family and friends. Enjoy your next chapter, Cindy and thank you for your dedication to the ICAN staff. You were a tremendous help to us all!
