Explore Careers in Construction Trades

Master Builders of Iowa and Build Iowa will host a series of career fairs in hopes to connect high school students with contractors and builders around the state.

Five career fairs take place every year in Cedar Rapids, Cedar Falls, West Des Moines, Mason City and Quad Cities. Although last year’s events were cancelled they are going to start back up March 29th IN PERSON!

These career fairs are important because they connect the building trades industry with students at local high schools that want to explore options in this field. Businesses are not only connecting with these students but also interacting through possible job shadows and internships.
