Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Periscope, and
Pinterest are really fun ways to stay connected to the colleges you are looking
at. Social media gives you a student’s
prospective of what the college looks like through their eyes. You hear a lot about the negatives of social
media but this is one positive. If you
are trying to pick a college this gives you a different way to look at the
university. Many colleges have Facebook
groups where you can reach out to other college students. This could be a great way to find a roommate,
new friend, decorating your dorm room, great places to get food, and entertainment
zones. Don’t forget be responsible with
social media because somethings you post could possibly come back to haunt
you. Other than that, have fun and enjoy
learning more about your college!
