Raise.Me Unique Among Scholarship Opportunities

RaiseMe www.raise.me is an online resource that helps high school students connect with micro-scholarships at colleges and universities by tracking student involvement, achievements, and extracurricular activities. An added benefit of having a RaiseMe account is that a lot of the same information could be used to build an Activities Resume, which is useful for completing college admissions applications, scholarship applications, and job applications. An Activities Resume template can be found in ICAN’s Materials Library under College Planning at www.icansucceed.org/materials.

Some of the areas of involvement that RaiseMe considers for potential micro-scholarships are listed below. It is also important to keep these areas of involvement updated on a student Activities Resume.
