Summer is a great time to sharpen your study/test taking skills, refresh, reset, review, and relax!

2. Refresh through Reading. Make a list of books you would like to read over summer break. If you use a Nook you can download many free eBooks from the Barnes and Noble website or you can stop by a garage sale and grab a paperback for .50 cents.

The more you read the better you get, practice makes perfect!

  • Interpersonal – “People Skills” how you relate with others
  • Organization, problem solving, planning, & initiative
  • Looks great on your résumé
4. Review. Make a list of all things you want to accomplish over the summer and then make them happen!

5. Relax through recreation. Exercise, bike, swim, kayak, run. Sign-up at your local Parks and Recreation or YMCA for group activities, or be a volunteer coach for a youth league. Enjoy!
